I will be there but I am far from optimistic. Even before today's poor performance I was sure we would lose this one. I have seen nothing today to make me change my mind.
I quite like a few teams at the foot of the table and wouldn't want them to go down. Accrington are one such team. In fact they are the team I would most like to see stay up. A nice little club, decent fans and a quaint ground in quite a leafy, quiet area. As away trips go it is one of the nicest. Roadside parking and a chip shop nearby.
They have put together a few good results lately. Bizarrely they have two former England strikers upfront - Beattie and 'fox in the box' Jeffers. I note that Jeffers did not play in their last game.
A must win game for them, they are improving and they have had an extra day to recover.

I hope I'm badly wrong about this (like I have been in every other prediction), but against Chesterfield there were worrying signs that too many players cannot uphold their high standard now that every result will affect our promotion chances.

We cannot play as badly as we did again on Saturday. Symes and MacD on the bench please, Dyer, Pato and Drury to come in. Lets get the ball down and start playing football again.
AS 1 - 2 Kee and Pato

I dont think its all doom and gloom. We have lost 1 game out of 10. Ok we did not play like we know the Brewers can. Maybe the game against wycombe not being played last week knocked the boat of course. The Brewers maybe over trained and got to hyped up for the game on saturday. Sometimes its not just about the football on the day that wins you games. Sometimes other factors going on in the background have a big inpact on how you play on match day.
The Brewers need to regroup lick there wounds and come out fighting for promotion. Maybe in some wierd way it might do the team some good what happend on Saturday. Thats football for you highs and lows keep it intresting. Lucky for Brewers fans we must not forget that most of the season we have been on a high and I dont think its going to end just yet.
Accrington have had a dire season and are in a dogfight at the bottom and maybe they will show some fight, but the facts dont lie they have let in 26 more goals than us and have a very week defence.
Accrington 1 - 3 Brewers.
