How are we going to replace...

Hooper and Wanyama?

I have resigned myself to losing them...I am seeing the positives though...and the main positive is that we should still have Joe Ledley...Are we comfortable with Kayal and Brown as our other centre mids? I think we should look to bring in another African chopper...there is plenty of them in the French lower leagues!

As for a striker...and any other creative players...I think we should employ my Football Manager policy...young, obscure, dynamite South Americans.....it's always a bit of a palava getting them a work permit though...appeals and all that, clicking all sorts of buttons!!

You're thinking of the two ronaldos, Wobgnorts

Replacing hooper Will be easy. He's actually not that good. Wanyama replacement Will prove impossible.

Wobgnorts - think we'll lose more than those 2 in the summer. I have always been a supporter of Hoops on these boards, but he has been poor recently - there were 2 good chances yesterday he should have put away.
I am sure Lenny and John Park will have something up their sleeve - we definitely need to replace with quality - would not surprise me if we "tweaked" our model a bit and got a couple of experienced heads in

Agree with the OP that its as good as done that we will loose both players. Its Wanyama that concerns me most on being able to replace with similar quality. In fact I doubt it is possible. He was a freak signing in that we managed to get him. He is going to go on to be one of the best midfielders in Europe for years to come. In saying that we can but hope someone close comes along again in the years to come but wont be holding my breath.
I think Hooper will be much easier to replace .
