Luiz

Thought he put in another solid performance today. Been a change in his performances since he's started to captain Brazil in Thiago Silva's absence. Although he's useful at CM i've always thought his future was at CB and for me he's currently our best player in that position.

If he can fully replace Terry in the long-run is the big question though

Also let Hernandez through at times though TLLL. Had a good game though.

I reckon that's been an instruction from Emenalo/The club TCP in preparation for Terry's exit. Rafa was a huge fan of Luiz at CM, but hasn't played him there at all and as you said now uses him as our 'lead' CB even when Terry is on the pitch. Sounds like orders from above imo

Luiz came back to CB as midfielders came back from injury/ACON <ok€

But we're still only using 3 midfielders for 2 positions in a busy fixture period BK. Given how much Benitez praised Luiz as a CM, you'd think he'd have at least played a couple of games there, but he's played CB every time despite our lack of numbers. He favoured Luiz over Mikel before too, but all of a sudden that's changed
