Nasri

I think Nasri is fully aware that Cesc has been planning on leaving this summer. With the anxiety of the clubs current predicament and the recent history, I think when it came to signing a new contract a few months back he had become hesitant on committing another 3 or 4 years at the club.

My view is that he is not sure whether Arsenal are in decline or whether the club will take action to improve. Which is why he is happy to wait till the end of the coming season to decide unless the club says otherwise.

In general, I don't blame him. But I do blame the club as they seem to be taking a big risk loosing out on 20m+, and yet seem to be very tight-fisted on paying for prospected transfers.

I think Nasri just cares about money, this ambition thing is just a smokescreen.

Nasri is looking at a massive payday, kerchiiiiing! Wenger and the board are trying to persuade him otherwise.

At the risk of sounding knee-jerk, I'm tired of this bull sh ! t and would sell him, NOW, even to Utd or Citteh and replace him.

The board and Wenger need to pull an almighty rabbit out of the hat to convince anyone of average or above intelligence that they've not been anything other than criminally inept pre-season with their transfer dealing, both in and out going!

If its about money, I don't see what 6 months is going to do to change his mind! as he can look and have agreed joining another team after January.

like the guy said above this summer has been highly inept on arsenals behalf.

I couldn't agree more. IMO the board are clueless. I honestly couldn't see a 'Nasri situation' happening in any other top club in Europe and we seriously need some new ideas.

They just seem to have no aggression in the market and they're literally happy to see what Wenger will come up with. If things don't go to plan there'll be a number of large protests this season.

I really hope we sell him soon, this whole transfer window has been an absolute shambles.

Just as a side, and dare I say it a little moist mischief making, both Arshavin and none other than Nicky Bendtner individually accumulated more assists than Nasri last season....

I think the OP is right and that is what I think, too. I am convinced that when Cesc stays he probably sign a new contract. I also believe that Nasri will wait what players really come in.

Nasri is not as good as he thinks and if he was we would have had several offers from other clubs but that has not happened. I asked this question a couple of days ago but did not get an answer. Have we won even a single match that Nasri has played in central midfield. I can swear that we have either lost or drawn all of them.
