First off, I won't dust off my halo and get the Pledge out. Because I've done bad things, seen a lot of action in the woods late at night, been in a lot of filthy jams. But, I will say this;
Whilst Spurs losing Bale for a number of games would be a hammerblow to them and a big advantage to Arsenal and Chelsea, SOME of the glee spurted online about a player being injured was the kind of behaviour I berate the likes of Spurs fans (not all, but a lot) for.
By the looks of things he'll only miss a couple of games. And I did think when the ITV team went into mini meltdown 'this ain't the first time I've seen Bale go down like his central nervous system has ceased working, only to tip up for the 2nd half/next game etc'.
Anyway, glad he's not smashed his ankle to bits. Remember the Spurs fans who threw objects at Sagna as he was carted off the pitch at the Lane with a broken leg? And Twitter, Ja606 & other boards being met with vitriol and glee at the likes of Wilshere having longterm injuries? You do don't you? Don't you...?
Don't be that person. JUST SAY NO! Or you'll either end up like Zammo, or a bitter lillywhite...

Think the injury has been exagerrated by the media. Looked quite nasty but should only be a twist really, so I expect he'll be back in 3 weeks.

At most he will miss 3 games, Everton, Basle & Man City.
Hardly a injury of any note.

From an Arsenal footballing point of view, Bale being injured is only good news, however I'd never actually wish an injury on a player, as that's just poor form. At the end of the day, opposition players are still people doing a job, playing for a rival doesn't automatically mean they deserve to suffer a physical injury. I remember the sagna chants and abuse as he was stretchered off with a broken leg and I don't understand the mentality of these fans, but I guess Its the same was I don't understand the dogs abuse certain players can get just for putting on an opposition shirt.
off topic: palmers spur, don't suppose your name is a nod to you being from Palmer's green way are you?

I honestly don't recall the Sagna stuff but that is obviously disappointing if it happened

I think Arsenal fans are allowed to be pleased about Bale being injured, just as I would be if Cazorla was injured. However it is a lot worse when you celebrate it or mock the other team for it.
One swallow doesnt make a spring, just because a few Spurs fans are morons doesnt mean we all are.

5 s about the article moist.
Even with Bale in their team, I still felt somehow they'll bottle it and we'd snatch 3rd. No sense celebrating a player's injury. We gooners have more class.
