Europa League leaves me feeling

totally uninspired..............

Honestly, I find the quality of football and the kudos of the Europa League completely uninspiring. I tried to get into the match against Rubin midweek but just could not be bothered in the end............

It is a very strange feeling to be so disinterested in a Chelsea match, but that's how this competition makes me feel and seeing all those empty seats in the stadium, I guess I am not alone in feeling this way.

Flash, I was really pleased with that team. That was the 'there and now', the team in front of us and as always I wanted us to win.

The team that made my blood boil was the pathetic team we put out against Southampton - it was awful and I posted somewhere on here at five to three that day that the clown had just thrown away three points for us!

I wasn't saying I wanted us to lose, I was just admitting I can't get motivated for this competition. For whatever reason I dislike it intensely and for what it stands for, I can't help it...........it must be a chemistry thing.

Biggish, it's the later day brother of the EUFA Cup/Inter Cities Fairs Cup - we'd have killed to be in it back in the 60s/70s!
