Rock Vs Cena 2

If Cena wins clean the fans will boo him like never before. The 'boring' chants and 'Cena Sucks' chants will echo long after the bell rings. Despite Cena giving it his all in a promo last Raw the crowd told him and Vince exactly what they thought about him. Apparently Vince was very concerned about the 'boring' chants. Maybe his hearing aid is working because this has been Cena for over 5 years. Every promo, exactly the same. ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ.

The thought of a clean Cena win and him celebrating after chills everyone to the bone. In fact he'll be hated by even more fans that are simply sick and tired of his boy scout stale as death character. Either turn tonight and win by cheating or even better, lose again tonight and finally turn on the fans.

Nobody wanted this rematch and now Vince could seriously drop the ball on his final chance really to change Cena. Hell Cena seems to just follow any order so he's as much to blame.

I'm hoping for a Rock win and then a Cena turn which in the long run will be much better for WWE but as the role model for little kids as Cena is I think the sales of fruity pebbles and toys will be too much for Vince to wreck. Sadly the fans will be the ones that will be wrecked tonight. Cena won't lose 3 Mania's in a row and he's too lame and weak to change or innovate for the better.

Prepare for a horrible goofy grinning Cena becoming superman and for a rain ofsh1t being thrown into the ring. The most unwanted end to the most unwanted match ever. Cena will never ever be on Rock's level.

So hold on... you're all done with Wrestling because the superstar you don't like won cleanly ????

Cena lost like 80% of pay-per-view matches in 2012 - one of which was to Mr People Power !

He has lost two Wrestlemanias on the trott - something that would have been unheard of in previous wwe eras for the top guy on the roster.

And stop with this heel turn crapola

what is it with modern day wrestlign fans that demand a wrestler become a heel. Apparently you're only cool to follow if you wear black, say the word 'ass' a lot and change your gimmick to suit the crowd

Cena has been the same guy - I think its refreshing to see that the top guy hasn't succombed to the era of internet warriors who crave rebellion

It isn't Cena, it is the script.
I'm gonna stay in touch with WWE in hope of progression, but that was undoubtedly the most overhyped match ever. The handshake actually made me shake my head as I looked up the see it was 3:47am

Who is going to challenge Cena now? The dirtsheets are saying Ryback using the story of the Royal Rumble elimination, really? I would understand if Ryback won but he didn't. I would love to see Cena vs someone like Roman Reigns as a fresh challenger with the shield by his side would be interesting

someone like Roman Reigns
---------

he really does need a push.

I had my doubts about him but he is fantastic, then again all three members are, Rollins would make a great cruiserweight champion and Ambrose would be a great WHC champion

I actually think Ambrose has underwhelmed

Out of the 3 he is the one who has been less involved physically but he deserves a title for his mic skills alone

Speaking of Mic skills - what the hell was Dusty Rhodes smokin ?

He couldn't get the words out !

"Its gorna be a big... um.. big.. super Wrestlrmania because... the dubya dubya e superstars are gorna be big... and big... all night"

riiiiiight !!!

What a fantastic simplification of a topic so much more complex, an argument which would've been fitting of the Cena character if he had the balls to tackle an issue head on for a change.

Fundamentally, there's no reason for Cena to change who he is on prinicple but he needs to have a purpose or his actions beyond 'i just love doing this'.

This sort of strikes at the classic debate determining who has more jurisdiction over any subjective reality - the creators or the fans. John Cena saying he loves doing what he does is fine but 'what he does' has alienated massive chunks of the fanbase, whereas if he had clearer intentions of where he was going and why, the character would remain fresh - the creators obviously have clear motive to allow the characters continued stagnation (motives which aren't in that 50%+ of the demographics best interests) so it largely depends what side of that debate you fall on.

When people cry out for Cena to turn heel what they're actually doing is crying out for him to adapt in so way shape or form
