we're not exactly playing along to the script of others are we PB?
we're roundly getting blamed for st mirrens refusal to ignore fans wishes ala sporting integrity.
Despite his ability to fill his mouth with his own feet he has also said many things that were long needed saying
greens clearly been a fly in the ointment, if you doubt he's being demonised check out the other thread on this...

Aye, I suppose.
I think I'm just getting concerned as his statements are getting worse.

FFS how many times has the guy got to lie and deceive to be untrustworthy in your eyes? Is this what you want as head of your club? And as for those who say "go and take McCoist"...you have short memories. McCoist has had to put up with this guy AND Whyte !!

"And as for those who say "go and take McCoist"...you have short memories."
You mean me, of course. And I've got a long memory, hence why I can make a judgement on it. And Green can go, and he can take McCoist with him.

"If the bunnet fits" - Well I did make that comment which you referred to.
How would the club be dead without McCoist?
And yes I do want rid, he's a terrible manager, on a wage which is unsustainable at the level we are at.

Where have you been for the last year ? Without McCoist there would not have been 38k season tickets sold for a start. If Big Gub Green, as was rumoured, had binned McCoist we would have been bust again. McCoist has worked under awful pressures and condition.....gie the guy a chance.
PS I agree Green should be offski

Been on various boards etc, as well as at Ibrox a few times. General consensus was people on there would have renewed, no matter the case. Of course I can't judge everything by polls on boards, but it's representitive. Perhaps McCoist being there would have put some ease to some doubters, but remember he offered to resign, which could also put doubt into peoples heads.
I've gave him a chance as well. I don't think he's got it in him to be a manager, although if he's there next year so be it.
And agree.

I really think that everyone is over-reacting to all of this. The interviewer is clearly badgering Green and in a court of law his questions would not be allowed. Apart from anything else in marketing and PR there are all kinds of claims made that ultimately are not true. I don't see any journalists knocking down the doors at Celtic Park asking Lawwell if he duped fans over their Japan trip.
There is clearly another agenda going on here. Charles Green in his "pak-i" statement said absolutely nothing wrong. He was merely pointing out that he has a joke with his asian friend. He didn't call anyone "a pak-i" in an offensive manner. Words are not offensive, it is the use of the word that is offensive and until people can get away from the sensationalism and look at the full scenario and what he said they should just shut up.
All the people who are up in arms about these things need to get some intelligence and stop being influenced by headlines.
Maybe we can look up the history of the journalist who is asking Green questions, all of his reports and published works, see if they are all true and if we find inconsistencies grill him on national TV and ask him if he knowingly told lies to the public. If not him then we can ask all the journalists who have ever reported on Rangers if they deliberately misled the public at any time about anything connected with the club. I am sure they are not whiter than white.
The sheer audacity of these guys is astounding in their position as journalists and publicists!
