Thursday's Game

Morning chaps,

it seems the majority of you are a little pessimistic about reaching the semi-finals in the Europa League. Granted, the 2:2 in the first leg wasn't ideal, but it's not the end of the world.

We all now its going to be a tight affair on Thursday, but I'm very confident we can pull it off.

The team has a point to prove without Bale and Lennon. Ade SEEMS to regain his interest in football, Walker showed signs of improvement and I'm very fond of Siggs in the last couple of games.

Yes, they have frightening pace down the wings.
Yes, they are at home with a good crowd behind them.
Yes, they definitely have the advantage in all regards.

But don't forget:

We are the 4th best team in England at the moment traveling to Switzerland. We've got players playing every week in the best league of the world and perform well. In AVB we have one of the best young managers in Europe and people like Steffen Freund who love our club as staff. They will make sure the team knows what this game means to the club and us fans.

We respect the opposition but we should not fear them.
If that's not enough, so be it. The better team over two games won, but i think we will go through and we will bring the Cup to White Hart Lane.
