People need to be patient with Mcdermott, chances are he won't get promotion next season, it could be a long term building job, which means it might take us two or three seasons. But if he is left to do the job without too much expectation and pressure, I am sure he will be successful

My idea of hell is having men like Grayson and McDermott managing Leeds and all the fans being behind them.
You don't have to sit next to me, so you're okay.

Clive are you related to Warnock or something? Warnock deserved no patience he was destroying the club, the fans just never warmed to him or trusted him, buying players like Diouf and continually using Brown just embarrassing. I trust Mcdermott to build a team we can be more proud of, so he deserves patience

How can you have a year on year improvement when you've only been in the job a year?

The fans just want a manager who's like their mate down the pub.
Your mate down the pub can't get Leeds promoted.

I don't believe he ever intended to stay Clive
I think he was only here to keep us up and for that we aren't sure yet are we. I think he did as well as he could but not what was expected from the hard sell when he started.
Trouble is; he had to be sold as a promotion attempt as selling the promise of a relegation battle doesnt shift season tickets

Clive. You're hatred of McDermott is completely unjustified, illogical and so ridiculous it's amusing. He hasn't even had a game.

Like every manager before him, he needs to be given a chance, however, if he's a dip stick and nothing eventuates then us fans will let him know in our world famous way.
Mind you, if we do nothing tween now and end of season the writing could be on wall already.

what do you expect us to do between now and the end of the season? the only thing he can do is keep us up. Give the man a chance. We won't be playing like Real madrid in his first season, it will take a couple of seasons to get Leeds back in a position where we can gain promotion, and will take many, many years of hard work before we ever challenge for anything significant again, if ever!
