No matter what Varney does with the rest of his time at leeds, he has now cemented his place as a lifelong hero for today, pretty much has saved our position in the championship. His contribution to our season has been largely underrated

Varney will get cult hero status surely

One of the worst players weve had in a Leeds shirt, bit worrying having your worst player score 2 goals to win us the match, McCormack and Morrison need to buck their ideas up. Big relief today tho

Hero..varney...cult hero..varney??
Cult heros = Diouf, Andy Hughes etc
Varney needs to be more consistent, thus played up front in order to see his ability. Not getting on the bandwagon.

"one game does not make a hero" 90th minute sub coming on and scoring the winner in a world cup final?

Varney to stay as CF and launch us to the Prem
....he might "hug a leeds fan" as he's carried shoulder high in our promotion celebrations.....

Shaun your comments have been shrouded by your hatred of varney, at times this season he has been our best player, largely playing out of position, I feel today's performance will have cemented him in BMs plans

Hes been garbage although it would appear hes been played out of position all season.

" McCormack and Morrison need to buck their ideas up."
get real Shaun............
agreed on Morison, but Mac provided both goals for Varney, Mac is showing a workrate that puts a lot of the team to shame
