Cole or Anderson

Who is better?

Ashley has been regarded as amongst the best left backs in the world for quite some time- great fitness, overlaps well, good on the ball, tenacious in the tackle.

His off the field antics have been well publicised, but anyone who can cheat on Cheryl, have her declare her undying love for him and then tell her it's her fault fir the cheating is a hero in my book.

Case closed? I think not!

Now Chelsea have slipped down the financial pecking order, behind Man City and Blackburn Rovers, there's a new man on the block. Some Chelsea fans may not have heard of Myles Anderson, son of the worlds best agent, but he served his apprenticeship at Barcelona's feeder club, Leyton Orient.

In January 2011 he moved to Aberdeen, Scotland's premier team and was a roaring success. It was abundantly clear after just one game against Kilmarnock that it'd be unfair to the rest of the league for him to play again.

In the summer of 2011, despite interest from Barca, Madrid, Milan, United and City; Anderson was purchased on an undisclosed fee believed to be in the region of $1 billion. Anderson stated "it's time to put India's premier football club on the map" and reiterated his desire to captain England to back to back world cup glories.

In his spare time Anderson clears mine fields, rescues cats from trees and visits mentally unfit Rooneys.

I hope I've put the case of young Myles and people can be objective when choosing, Ashley or Myles?

For now, Ashley because we haven't seen Myles perform on a cold, windy tuesday night in Stoke which, as we all know, is the benchmark for being a world class player.

Renowned former Brazil left back international supremo Robert Carlton said "Miles is just like I was. He has such a vast attacking vision and can actually defend as well. His work rate is second only to Jesus and he always keeps his eye on the ball. In Brazil we say a person who is always watching the game 'o falcão'."

Former (and first ever) Countdown champion Joyce Cansfield said about Miles "He is a genius and would give anyone a good game. His ability to calculate under pressure and strike gold from a real conundrum is beyond baffling. He poses sometimes as someone you have a lot of confidence playing against but like a viper he strikes to take you out."
