the ER pitch at 117 x 76 is bigger than Barcelona's pitch. Which might explain why we have conceeded so many late goals this season, Warnock style hoofball does not suit a pitch of that size. When you continually play longball, you only give posession to the opposition team, which means you have to work harder, and on a pitch the size of ER, we have this season continually found ourselves defending very deep for the last 20 minutes of most games. We cannot maintain sustained pressure on teams

harj, you miss the point im making, the other teams don't play longball, they keep posession, use wingers and play more patiently. Longball tatics only excell on small pitches with confined spaces to close off the space.

Most of the late goals we've conceded this season to cost us results have been away, i.e wolves, palace and leicester

BM likes to play with wingers so it will suit us next season.

Which means Pro Somma may well come into play too.
Somma ain't scared of defences or scared of shooting from most angles and distances, some good feeders could see him score regularly, like he did before Grayson started falling in love with Beckford.
