With just four games to cement a playoff spot we look awful and more likely to miss out.
Is it time now to cut our losses with IH? Since the game against the weed we have not looked a shadow of how we can and had been playing in the main. The stats don't lie and our form is dire. There are too many things wrong now and I just can't see the steady decline suddenly being ressurected in the next couple of weeks under IH.
I have seen a suggestion that he has lost the dressing room. Allegedly there had been an incident on the coach to Brighton concerning some banter with the driver that went a little bit over the top. A situation with Joniesta at half time in that game and a bit of argy bargy in the changing room following the Barnsley game. This has all coincided with the time scale of our poor form.
I feel that it might be better to show IH the door now in order to have any last chance of success over the next four games. It will cost a fair amount to pay him off but since he never spent any money in the January window it is presumably there, so let him have it.
Otherwise, If and when we drop out of the top six and finish a likely 7/8th we are looking at a scenario next season where we may have well lost decent players that we will struggle to replace. We will be bumbling along in or just above the relegation places and he will probably be sacked by Christmas anyway. Better to put him and the fans out of our misery now.
I have seen a few calls for Warnock to be installed for the last four games and I think that would work far better than IH having them. I think even the players, the youth team coach and the board collectively could galvanise us enough to have a resounding finish to the season.
If we then did get to the prem, the money to pay off IH would be recouped in an instant.
What would others like to see happen...?
Holloway Get Your Coat....

These next 4 games are his (and the players) chance to prove something. If history is anything to go by we do step up under pressure. We've had a few relegation battles and this is relegation from the play-offs.
IH isn't helped by some errors such as last night, or the fact that we've hit the woodwork more times than the back of the net in the last 5 or 6 games.
We need 2 more wins to secure a play-off place. Just 2 goals. C'mon Palace! I don't ask for much
Where's the rest of you with you lucky shirts, etc.?! Get them out of the wash!

I think it's a little late to sack Holloway, not that i would anyway. I must admit a few weeks ago i would have given Ollie my full backing but not so sure now. It bothers me that his answer to everything seems to be put more forwards on. If you look at some of our recent losses we have conceded goals when the opposition have hit us on the break, that used to be our strength. Maybe we need to start grinding out results, pack the defence and midfield and let the oppostion attack us then break not go all out attack from the start.
Some of the games we haven't conceded to many shots on target but they seem to be going in so maybe a bit of lady luck is needed. If we actually scored and scored 1st in a match i think it would be a different match altogether and could probably boost the confidence of the players.
I fear for our play off chances but in this league you never know, and if we do reach the play offs we have to up our game big time.

I'm the same as you SE. When push comes to shove I want to at least get the idea that Holloway is going to turn this around.
Yes we would have taken this in August, yes we almost went out of business blah blah blah. We can save all that for looking back at the end of season. As for the next 4 games
PLEASE PALACE JUST HOLD ON TO A FECKING PLAY-OFF PLACE!

When Freedman left, we were top or thereabouts, and Bolton were relegation candidates.
If we manage to cling on to our play-off place, it would be pretty dreadful to go out to Bolton. When he was here the Doog had plenty of detractors, but it seems he may have the last laugh.
So we need to get behind the team, behind IH and do our bit to prevent the above scenario- or worse, a defeat to Brighton.
What frustrates me is the feeling that our opponents are not winning games against us- we are losing them. The problems is not with the opposition, it is with our dressing room and our confidence. I agree with IH, we do need to stick together if we have a chance. That includes the fans getting behind the team if we go behind.
The last thing we need now is to panic. One result could change everything.

The Leicester game was better (mainly because we scored!) but the reason we didn't get 3 points is because our 2 defenders jumped out the way! In fairness to Olly he got us scoring but there's nothing he can do if the defence is going to give away goals.
If we win our remaining games we will finish 4th regardless. It makes sense that we should win them because it's against 3 relegation teams, but this is the Championship and nothing makes sense!
We could finish 4th and possibly play Brighton in the semis and Bolton in the final when DF runs onto the pitch to score a 87 minute winner for Palace and is welcomed back as manager with the board revealing it was all an elaborate plan to get us promoted.
