60 points

I cannot fathom the championship this season. It actually appears possible that a team may get relegated on 60 points given the form of those clubs threatened at the bottom. Last season if I remember rightly, 6th place ended up on 66 points ... this really has got to be the closest league in world football where the margin of error that dictates promotion or relegation is miniscule

Totally agree MJL.
It is a shame the division doesn't get the 'credit' it deserves at least from the TV companies and a 'what'll happen next' perspective.
When you also consider that 18 out of the 24 clubs have actually been in the PL it brings home how difficult a league it is to get out of.
If you know who go down from the PL next season it could be even more interesting in 2014.

I'm not a big Lee Clarke fan by any means and he certainly did nothing to win me over in the first half or so of the season but, despite the squad he inherited from CH, I think at the season's end he will have achieved a position that he can probably reflect favourably on BECAUSE of how competitive this league is.

I'm not going to start bashing the Wolves, but many a neutral must have thought that they would have been in with a shout of promotion this season and look at where they are now.

This will be a huge summer for Blues with CY's court case beginning, the continued ownership issues and the mass turnover that can be expected in the squad

Very close again this season and has been now in this division for about 5 years.

I can't see anybody going down on 60 and I think we are safe now as a few of the teams below us are playing each other this weekend.

In terms of recognition for the league it is the 5th most watched league in the world. So it may not get loads of press coverage over here but is watched around the world.

Very close season I mean Peterborough have done the double over Cardiff a team bottom all season twice beating a team top all season.

I've always preferred the championship to the premier league I'd definately rather win more games than we lose (though that hasn't always been the case this season).

Difficult league and will only get harder next season with the relegated clubs getting even more parachute payments and teams coming up from league one look good especially if brentford get up they're a very good team with a top manager.
