That is all this man is good for, I really do fail to see why he doesn't get slated by the media for the poor player he is. Instead he got praise for being a "handful". Is that the new phrase for being a thug on the pitch? That challenge on De Gea was close to one of the worst challenges I've seen and also the elbowing went on.
English media and pundits wonder why the national team is being left behind by the likes of Spain, Italy, Holland ect. Never in ail lion years would that useless lump get near these teams but can get a game for England.
Sorry for ranting on needed that off my chest. Players like Carroll, managers like Allardyce ruin my love for football and spoilt the beautiful game.

I agree with what you are saying, but Andy Carroll wasn't a handful last night in the point you are making. He played like a thug, He wiped out de Gea and was elbowing Vidic, he lacks footballing ability and gets praise for it!

I didnt see the game last night pirlo so cant comment about it .
However , Im sure ive seen Sutton /Hately / Hartson/ Prso all do similar with regards fouling the centre half and giving the keeper a whack and something to think about .
its kinda part of the mind games that teams play ....float a ball in , give the keeper a whack and then its a case of well lets see if he comes for the next cross

He didn't elbow Vidic - if you watched the game then you can clearly see he only had eyes for the ball - Vidic was in his way, and whined constantly to the ref afterwards, bloody wimp.
