who should rangers target now..........we know we dont have alot of money 1-2 million at most,so we need a proven goalscorer in spl ,europe..................alot of rangers fans wont like this but i think we should go for scott macdonald........so what he played for celtc, doesnt bother me ....would he come.........never know until we actually bid for him ...........would the fans take to him..........i say yes as we will never forget his double against celtc last day of the season to let rangers win the league..........
what do yous think bears..................

I know this suggestion is gonna be laughed at, but what about Jason Roberts?
He's a big lump with not much skill but still seems to manage to score a goal or 2 for a poor Blackburn team. He may be available on loan.

West end
I think we need another two centre halfs, hopefully Cuellar will sign but I think CL football is needed for it to be alright for him. The boy from Anderlecht looks keen if press reports are to be believed so those two would do for me.
I would sign Murray Davidson as a squad player, he was the only one who looked like a good player in the St Johnstone team. The Dutch winger looks like the sort of player we need as well. Just meet the asking price.
With a striker that would make our squad more complete. A purchase means a potential investment whereas a loan is dead money.
If Bougherra goes for 3m then that is an amazing piece of business

Willie . I think that is good news and will at least let us judge if he is any good.

Superb news. Should hopefully give us a solid defence allowing our midfield to be a bit more attack minded.

I think the answer is right under our noses in the form of a striker that Westendger failed to mention
I don't know why we haven't played Hemmings (He's been on the bench) He's been scoring in preseason and looks class from what I have seen.
It's a shame Ally seems more reluctant than Walter (didn't think it was possible) to play youngsters.

If you look at the highlights there Hemmings sets up the third goal and scores the fourth.

Good shout Castle! He certainly took his goal well. I don't understand why we bring players in (Healy, Kerkar and Hemmings are examples) and then never use them.
If they are good enough for the first team squad they are good enough for the team surely? If not why do we keep them?

Regards to Hemmings we signed him when he was 16, so it wasn't like Kerkar or Healy for that matter. He was signed as a youth player.
I agree that Healy and Kerkar should be getting games as well. Healy has done well when he has played. Don't know why he isn't getting a game.
Against Hearts and Malmo first leg. Hemmings should have come on for Naismith in the second half who was missing sitters.
McCoist afterwards said playing kids can damage them in these games. I was thinking shut up Ally you muppet and here we go again.
I mean did it damage Rooney or Derek Johnstone? It will damage them more not playing them, then playing a defender or some other player out of position instead of them. How must that make them feel?
The reason our country is crap at football (to answer Mad Vlad) is we would rather sign players than give the kids a game. I mean why is Wylde not getting a game or Forrest at Celtic (who looked class the first half of last season) It's not right at all.
Ally is making the same biggest, most annoying mistakes of Walter. IE- Not playing kids and playing half the team out of position and it will be his downfall.

Saw this on the BBC gossip page, I have always thought he would do a job for one of the OF and despite being injury prone would love to see him sign for the Gers:
Wolves and QPR are thought to be competing for the signature of German midfielder Thomas Hitzlpserger, who was released by West Ham.
