Everyone knows the story of Tomas, the way he was at the top of his game then due to injury he was kept out of the game for over a year. He returned and fans watched with high hopes of him returning as the same player that went out. Unfortunately this didnt happen the Rosicky that returned wasnt the same, he was still as nice to watch as ever however he was missing an edge.
Now i have been watching videos of him at the end of last season and pre-season and i must admit i am very impressed. He seems to have regained his spark, and i whole heartedly believe he can play a big part in arsenals season this year. The things i have noticed about the 'new rosicky' is that he is producing a lot more balls that takes the opposing defence out of the question. I also believe he has been more of a goal threat in recent games.
The problem for Rosicky is that we have Wilshere, Ramsey and Nasri (who i expect to move central this season) do you think Rosicky can challenge these guys for a starting place? and what do you expect from Rosicky this season?
Tomas Rosicky

He had a really strong powerful shot saved in the Red Bulls game too... looked really good.
In fact I'd go as far as to say that he'll be like a new signing this year

He was world class at one point.

To be fair, getting back a prime Rosicky WOULD be like a new signing. As we've all forgotten his ability.

He is a Vampire.
This is the reason for all his injuries

dont rate the guy, i guess thats why we dont win anything no more. Injury prone players on big wages, that no-one else wants at their club. I'd say he's been a flop, according to wenger he was suppose to be the goal scoring mf, yeah he's goal statistics are fantastic, like 2 european goals & a handful of pl goals.

I love Tomas.
It made me a sad to see what was such a great player, now reduced to being lumped in with the likes of Denilson and Almunia as an object of enmity.
Hopefully he will shine once more. If he can't, this should definitelty be his last season with us.

Yeah but the season before his injury he scored 7 in 24 games which is slightly more than a goal every three games, which for a midfielder is pretty good. I think if you watched some videos on youtube that show rosickys every touch in a recent specific game you might change your mind.

i think we need to see if and how he performs in the league before. Unfortunately he has flattered to deceive in the past and with his injury problems

I don't think he was world class (e.g. Messi, Zidane etc.). At his peak, he was in the category behind this (e.g. Scholes - oh, no, the Utd fans will be all over this comment, Iniesta etc.). That's just my opinion, and these things are relative.

And I don't expect Nasri to be in the mix. We'd be bonkers not to cash in on him now, as he would leave for sure at the end of the season.
