Well what can I say

Yesterdays match summed up the Dons season. I think Robinson is a good manager BUT and it's a very BIG "BUT" it is not work with his current backroom staff.

H did well with Gorman because he was learning from him all the time. He needs someone like Gorman for next season urgently.

Robinson stated that he did not get the players he wanted, this was NOT due to lack of funds but because they did not want to come to the Dons, we need to know why.

It now begs the question who will still be with us next season, Robinson included. Who would make a good number two if he stays?

Very disappointed with how the season finished, Robinson said some of the players were not up for the game, how is that possible.
I expected us to win to put pressure on Swindon, but they did what they needed to do, which we didnt.
Reminds me of a few years back when Walsall beat us 1-0 in the last game when Jabo scored against us.

This season has been similar to the last couple in that we would probably have gone straight up if we had a prolific goalscorer and we didnt have such a dreadful disciplinary record.
But this isnt new and has been going on since Ince left.

Why is it team's like Yeovil and Brentford can get a 20 plus goal a season man and we cant.

I dont see what either Harford or Wright has done this season, I was expecting much more from our strikers under Wright's guidance.

Well I am not expecting to see Mckenzie or Gleeson and Lowe next year, possibly Williams could also leave, other than that I think it will be much of the same.
Dont think Harley or Lines will be retained either.
Would like to see Bamford retained though.
Sorry but Mcloud is a dud so I would offload him too.
Having Flannagan at centre back is a must next season, so that Williams can play in midfield.
I am hoping we could get Baldock back from Bristol City for a song, or Kedwell from Gillingham, or even Midson from AFCW, but thats not likely.

Every cloud has a silver lining,...you might be playing us again next season. together with all the disappointment that involves.

Posh & Cobblers would be some recompense of still being in League 1, but I doubt we would be so lucky.

Well lets be honest - I always said the volume of activity on our 606 board compared to others would lead us to promotion - but we have mirrored the team - our commitment on these boards (mine included) has waned - and the team clearly took note and followed suit

That said - playing Posh would be a great bonus - but far better in the championship

As to the team - would be gutted if Gleeson leaves - but maybe he will stay on as captain, and that its Deano who moves on (sad as it is I would be happy with that).

Chicko can then take over his preferred position as left back (otherwise I think he will leave).

I think Otsemobor is just not working out, so that leaves a possible gap. I think that Doumbe will be moved on - leaving Flannagan and Kay. Williams I think will be moving on - so another post to fill.

I don’t see Lines or Hartley staying on either - and tbh am not sure about Bowditch being around. Agree McCloud has not really worked out.

Let the youngsters play more and certainly get in a couple of strikers - I doubt Bamford will be here, more likely at a championship team

And have to agree on the assistant manager(s) - really dont see what they have brought

Such a pity this season - BUT hope you will not all desert these boards COYD

Personally I would play the youth squad for the lsat game to give them the experience and if any performed well would feature in the pre-season games.

Then take the performers from this season and then fill the spaces with new signing. I would love Baford to stay, but can't see it. It might be worth getting Lowe to stay for another season, especially if Robbo gets a young striker.

Otsemobor, McCloud, Kay, Wright and Hartford should deninately move on.

I will probably be here next season - more because I don't oknow many sites like this and a single team site where you don''t get the banter doesn't appeal.

It will be a shame if Posh and Hudders do come back down, but at least it will make these boards more lively.
