Suarez is an Angel

As the title of this article says, which is a fact, I said so - Suarez is in fact an angel. He did no wrong yesterday and he never does anything wrong. It's a huge conspiracy. I condone what he did and I'm wearing a t-shirt in his honour.

At least this is what rival fans see in any Liverpool fan's comments. I have not seen one person, not one, condone or deny what Suarez did and yet, all over the web, there's people showing outrage at Liverpool fans condoning it and denying it even happened.

I think I can speak for every single Liverpool fan when I say, we are disgusted at what Suarez did, there is no place for it on the football pitch. Personally if he was that annoyed, he should have smacked him on the mouth, he'd be more of a man in my eyes, again, I wouldn't condone that either. However, we are Liverpool SUPPORTERS, we support the club and we will support our players. Suarez has crossed that line and we DON'T support that!

Suarez has apologised to Ivanovic, who was a bigger man than I would have been, with how he reacted and then accepting his apology, he has been fined, I assume two weeks wages which is the maximum for a club. He has been condemned by Liverpool fans and rival fans, all over the world. His wife will be disgusted at him after recently asking him to tone it down, the club have issued a response apologising and telling everyone that anyone can be sold and no doubt will internally deal with him. On top of this, the FA, I presume, will ban him. With this, he will have received punishment befitting of his crime. He'll be disgusted with himself.

So everything suggests that Liverpool fans and Liverpool Football Club are not happy with the actions of Suarez and want him punished. This will happen. So less of the nonsense stating Liverpool fans and indeed the club are in some way condoning it.

Red man

A small snippet but you get where its going!

Downing Street has taken a bite out of Liverpool striker Luis Suarez, reminding the premiership player he is a role model for children.

Is there anything that leach Cameron won't clamp on to?

Give me strength.

I don't remember nor tend to listen to pundits

Unless it's Hoddle talking about an Everton player.

Why on earth not?

I think Raj has seen Cameron on telly, that's why he came out and spoke about Suarez. It's all Raj's fault.

"Not with you I don't"

Ahh, so you are just baiting certain users of this forum to get a rise? Sounds like confessions of a WUM.

To get back to the article, I'd like to add to a few points made earlier

TOOR - "Is an elbow on the head or a two footed tackle less of a problem"

Its more of a problem in the sense that it happens with more regularity, however a bite, compared to a single instance of the elbow/ 2 footer is more of a problem. The two you mention are dirty, biting is just really weird. I don't know how to put it into words, but you it just makes me think is there anything he wouldn't do?

red_man23 - "I reckon it'll be 5+ tbh. Don't think they'll go above the 8 they gave him for Evra. They wouldn't want to appear to be putting a bite above racism."

See this was my initial thought, however I wouldn't be at all suprised to see him get much more than 8 games - my money would be on double this. The FA would stress that the punishment length is partly down to the offense, and partly down to it being a repeat offense of this nature i.e. should he get done for racial abuse again, the punishment will be much higher than 8 games. The punishment handed out will almost certainly be befitting of his behaviour, not necessarily this crime.

Joey Barton, City vs QPR last game of last season. He got a red, then walked over and kneed Aguero/Nasri (?), had he not been dragged off the pitch he would have probably punched Balotelli. He was given 12 matches for this "violent conduct". I struggle to see what is worse though - both scenes absolutely disgusted me. Given that the likes of Barton & Suarez have the best advisors and help money can buy yet still act like this, can you image what they would be like if they weren't footballers with all the aid they get? It is probably safe to say that if they would be in prison (along with many others).
