I think it would have been smart of Liverpool to ban Luis for the rest of the season. Why? Because a fine is worthless and it makes it seem like pool let him off easy. Considering that he likely will get the ban from the FA anyway, it would have been good publicity if pool had banned him. It's not like Liverpool are in the race for anything right now, so they wouldn't exactly have missed him.
