Liking this!

Hi everyone, I was on 606 but haven't really used it for a long time. Have been at uni, but have still managed to get to a couple of games. Got a season ticket for the first time since I went to uni next year, so hopefully we can have a good one.

Whilst I'd like to think the takeover will/has been good for the club, and them saying things about progressing up the league, it's a bit hard to see when Steve Kean concedes in an interview that essentially, for the right price, Jones and Samba are up for sale. Hoilett should also probably be offered a new deal now too. I'm not totally against them, or Kean, but they really need to appoint a Chairman, and do some of the things they've been saying they'll do, and not just sell the players, and replace them with RSC. He was good once, but not anymore!

Anyway, hopefully I'll be able to contribute more on here than on 606 now there isn't a dissertation to do.

The next two months will show whether the Venkys have any interest in developing Rovers or whether they are selling players at top dollar and replacing with bargain basement players.

Assuming they are aware the season is finished at least they have not been 'leaking' reports they are after Messi, Ronaldo, Beckham or the likes up to now.

Keep what we have, add Jones, add M Owen and a left back- job done.

I'm often known as a Kean-aphobe but it's hard not to agree with him on this one. Every player has a price, I'd even be prepared to let Roberts go for Messi +£20m.

I'd be interested to know what context it was offered. If a reporter was badgering him over their futures and asking if they could potentially go then it's a fair comment. If he was being asked vague questions and offered them up for sale he's basically pimping them out as he knows the transfer budget it zilch...

I've finally got onto here too.

What do you reckon to the owners pushing the boat out for a cheeky Berbatov bid?

We're more likely to end up with free transfers in all honesty.
