Morning chaps
So, Bayern got the German Messi for 37m.
Even before that it was widely expected that Robben will leave Bayern this summer which now seems to be more than just rumours.
They bought him for 24m Euros a couple of season ago, so maybe something between 15-20m will be enough to get him.
What's your opinion of him and do you think we should try and get him?
Although he is so predictable with his left foot, i'd take him in a heartbeat. Good pace, stunning technique and experience.
The only thing that's sure is that the Götze transfer will kickoff various dealings. Lewandowski might leave as well, so Dortmund could have about 75m to spend. Isco wants to play Champions League, City and Chelsea will try to buy their way back into title contenders. Even Suarez might leave, depending on the ban he gets and the Liverpool board.
Very much looking forward to this summer

Strikers come in all forms, from your Owens to your Drogbas.
For me, the criteria is 20+ PL goals per season solo, or 35+ per season for a strike pair.
And not predictable play. Hoof to Carroll is no different to Defoe shooting on sight straight at the goalie.

We really do need a striker that will make that difference. I don't even think Benteke is right for the club, I may be a minority in saying that but I don't think he is that difference maker. We need someone like Lavezzi from PSG, but it's gonna be difficult to attract that sort of player when you are not willing to spend too much.
If we keep Bale, get the likes of Sandro and Kaboul back on full flow, get a few of quality loan players back, we seriously don't need to buy anything more than a creative midfielder and a striker. Even if we don't sign that creative player - which may not be necessary when we have Holtby now raising his game big time and Dembele playing well - we may only just need a winger and that great striker

Think AVB will go back for Moutinho, especially if a CL slot is secured.
Look at this :
Walker/Kaboul/Verty/ BAE/Rose
Lennon / Sandro/ Moutinho
Defoe / Bale / X
That is one seriously fast moving ball-playing team.

Well, i think tonights performance shows what quality Robben still has. Workes his socks off tonight as well.
Fantastic game and if Pep wants to get rid of him, i think everyone would be happy if we try to sign Robben.

Ooo La La Hugo! Le Boss & Numéro Un™ (U7980)
Love that team mate, depending on the new striker and barring big injuries i think that team could be title contenders

Not a tad negative? You want at least 3 real goal threats in a top side, that side is very short on goals.
Forget Sandro sitting behind in a 4141 - have just two of those three in CM and a #10 behind the striker.

Either that or drop Lennon and play a better goal threat in a 433

We've got 3 goal threats in that side.
New striker, Bale..................... Vertonghen
