BREAKING NEWS:
Arsenal striker Olivier Giroud has had his claim for wrongful dismissal rejected
Following an Independent Regulatory Commission hearing today, Arsenal’s Olivier Giroud has had his claim for wrongful dismissal rejected.
Giroud was dismissed for serious foul play during his side's game against Fulham at Craven Cottage on Saturday 20 April 2013.
The player's three-match suspension will therefore commence with immediate effect.
Giroud's Appeal Rejected

No surprise at all. It was an exercise in futility. Giroud was so pathetic in going for that challenge knowing full well that a player was sent off for a very similar lunge in the first half. Giroud has let his team mates down. As I suggested at the time, whatever one thinks of Giroud as a player, to take yourself out of selection, at the vital part of the season is disgraceful.
I am thankful that it was not seen as frivolous appeal and the ban wasn't increased to 4 matches. Lets hope Pod steps up.

Podolski won't start. He clearly isn't fit.
I expect Gervinho to play centrally. Poldi would be a massive gamble.

Only thing is Podolski has the movement of Magikarp. Plus Looks overweight, slow, Cleary not fit.
Theo isn't very useful against deep defences.
I hate Gervinho but, he's so erratic he'll actually be more affective than Podolski or Theo. Gervinho up top is our best bet. Gervinho can draw defenders to him. He's so unpredictable.. Keeps defenders guessing and draws them away from the wings.

I do wonder that even if you watched the replay of the incidence you claim that the Sidewell foul was similar. Maybe you should wear glasses?

Just seen the news, (seems I could have left this comment on half a dozen different articles ).
Hope all those celebrating the FA's decision are proved right. In truth though Giroud has looked knackered and totally out of sorts recently.
Over to you then Gervinho...

Yeah I need glasses.
Wenger needs glasses.
The Ref and linesman needs glasses.
The independent panel needs glasses.
Everyone needs glasses apart from those who want to have Giroud's children.
