So according to the LUFC commercial twitter page the new kit is due to be released today.
Not much in the way of rumours apart from it has a big blue line down the middle, thoughts? Personally think it should stay all white and this night not go down too well.

Our average attendance for two seasons only were below 20,000 these were 1960/1961 and 1961/1962
The five years before were in excess of 20,000 and afterwards two in excess of 20,000 then they picked up significantly when we became more successful.
Revie became manager in March 1961, his first full season was one of the lowest attended in our history 1961/1962.

Eric
I'm talking about the mindset of the club, the kit change to all white changed the whole idea of Leeds Utd as a football club, no longer was it going out as a comical looking apperance. And as fanbase we didn't have a demanding mindset of being a 'big club' before Revie era, we were the equivalent of Hull in ambition and stature we held ourselves in. The whole demanding mindset of Leeds fans comes from that era. It created the modern idea of Leeds Utd, we still have fan groups in places like norway because of that era. So changing the kit is going against that history, we owe everything as a club to don revie

Change is a frightening thing to some. This debate about 2 blue stripes on our home shirt just proves it.
If it were a totally blue shirt with 2 white stripes i'd be unhappy. I just don't get the furore being generated. As a style have to say i'm not convinced by it, but it doesn't diminish the club identity one iota for me. It's predominantely white, just with tweak to it. The crest is still there and the fan inside it still supports the club. Elland road is still our home and as far as i know we're not looking to rename it (though who knows!).
The test of whether they've got it right will be first game next season and the sales of it in general. Have to confess i'm not sure if i'll buy one - mind, i've just bought 3 shirts the other day as part of the sales (still £50 mind!).
Traditionalists like the white shirt and what it stands for - i respect that (a lot). I'm not sure it's the biggest issue facing the club right now. Clarity on our finances sits well above that.

Agree talking identity away from the club a bit.
It's wrong.
