For all those fans stating that two footed lunges and dangerous tackles should receive longer bans than deliberately biting someone - um, why should it? Misguided tackles and late challenges, whilst not pretty to look at and extremely endangering to the health of a player and his career are intrinsically part of the game. You will never get the sport without incidents like this.
On the other hand, a player deliberately going out of his way to bite someone, not once but on two instances is not an intrinsically accepted part of the sport. The fact that he's had to go out of his way to commit the act is horrific enough and as such I can't seriously understand this argument.
What sort of precedent is this setting for grass roots football? The FA had no choice but to stamp down on it and as the last ban for a similar incident for the player was 7 games, it was always going to be either that or more.

Just FYI, Keanes kunge on hagaland did not end his career, it was an injury to his other knee that done for him
And as for the ban, fine, fairly appropriate IMO, an all round horrible person who no matter how good he is at football, and he is superb why is it always him? he dives, cheats, bites and is whatever you say a racist, who else has all those character flaws currently playing in the EPL?

Lets correct that - Roy tried to end a mans career. Makes it so much more forgivable

Epic, you know that do you? no you don't soft lad, he obviously had intentions to hurt him but end his career? stop making it up after you were proved wrong on the "career ending" injury Roy was meant to have inflicted.
Just suck it up and as for your the last bastion of a man who has no arguement, my 10 year old nephew does that

seriously after his last episode with the FA were Pool fans expecting anything less than a hammering? it sends out the right message to all tiers of the game that this kind of behaviour has absolutely no place in the game

Regie, the law also says violence is worse than racism, it's a non issue, you can get life in prison for violence. Racism will get you a fine and some community service, so yes violence is worse than racism.
