Have just heard Suarez has been given a 10 game ban. Personally I don't think it is enough but it is still better than what I expected. Well done to the FA for making an example of this odious racist cheating beaver

He was being affectionate to Ivanovic.
Outrageous decision.

The difference is the rules.
If a player has been delt with in the match the F.A don't like to tell the offending ref he is wrong.
this is something i do not agree with. But it is the rules the F.A have set.
Suarez ban is bang on and the same should have been given to defoe if the F.A had any sense.
It has nothing to do with nationality as Terry was cleared an a court of law for something and then charged for the same offence by the F.A.
I have never bought this whole "English players get off lightly"
I believe it is more to do with status and who you play for as well as the F.A not wanting to belittle the refs by going against thier punishment.

They're discussing whether you can actually catch rabies from a person because I said he could have given it to Ivanovic.

I think 10 games is fair enough and a bit lucky for Suarez.
He would have faced 2 games for this 10th yellow card, right?
For his first length ban he got 7 games. So if you take this into account he can be very happy that this is only 10 games all in all.

Should be more than that. Although I'm at pleased they gave him a 10 game ban as I didn't think they would have the balls to do so.

Any nasty reckless tackle or kung foo kick on to the spectator or spitting on someone is much worse than what Suarez did. All above should b treated with similar seriousness. How come players get away with nasty tackle, why FA doesn't do anything with it. Remember rooney elbowed some Wigan player may be 2 seasons ago and still got away with it. He went bizarre against that macedonian guy as if he wanted to take revenge, it wasn't blown out of proportion like this incidence. Why is that? can any one justify to me please? That was dangerous act too in my eyes.

Everyone is over reacting. He bit him he didn't kill anyway or anything. 3 game ban and everyone getting over it would of been enough
