Despite this seasons disappointment I think we MUST stick with Robinson, he has so far been loyal to the Dons and I think the club & fans MUST be loyal to him. There are two points to make!
1) A few years ago there was a certain ManU manager that was almost sacked, the rest is now history.
2) I do think that backroom staff need to be sorted out, they are NOT up to the standard of John Gorman.

Should we stick with Robinson

I am undecided about Robbo, he needs to learn and learn quickly. The passing game is great, but without the cutting edge it is pointless.
He still hasn't learnt the lesson from the Brentford game 18 months ago where the Dons were leading 3-0 at half time and Brentford changed their game and went long ball and drew 3-3. Instead of congratulating them, he said that it wasn't football and he didn't like it.
So MK Dons are too predicatable and the Opposition know exactly how to play. There have been too many games this season where this is bvious by half time, but instead of changing the tactics, Robbo has changed the players in the middle of the second half and continued polaying the same way.

An interesting stat for Robbo wouldn't be the amount of possession but the amount of possession in the opposition's 3rd of the pitch.
But on the whole I agree with Robbo. I watched the Posh vs Wednesday game and it was disheartening how the ball was continuely lumped forward rather than anyone trying to find their man (and before anyone says that is successful, either are in danger of being relegated).

One thing though Furz, both of them have been in the Championship this season.
I am not saying that Robbo should abandon the classy play, just have the ability to do something different if it isn't working

But could you stomach the hoof ball and still be struggling with relegation. The teams that have done well, like Brighton, have been the teams prepared to play and pass.

Agree Furz - its play and pass - but in the final 3rd we also need to shoot. Some of the games this season we took teams apart with fast moving passing and moving - looked like scoring and often scored.
Usually we start off well and then after 15 minutes just seem to lose momentum after not scoring.
The period where we really did well was when Gleeson and Chadders were both fully fit, and Gleeson linked up well with Potter - they seem to release players up front. If we had a decent striker we would have scored a load more goals.
It will be really interesting to see how we re-build the team - we need to as next season there are going to be some strong teams in our league - Wolves and one of the other drop clubs, as well as clubs that have really progressed in the league this season - Yeovil, Tranmere, etc - and Coventry will be a much stronger challenge next season - its going to be tough

Furz, I am not saying do hoof ball every week, but ther have been games this season (and last) where the opposition packed out their defence freely gave 2/3rds of the field to the Dons and either held out for a draw or got a breakaway and scored the winner.
Its usually clear within the first 20 minutes where the other manager has organised his team, so if Robbo changed tactics - even if h said "Right for the first 15 minutes of the second half, I want everyone to kick the ball as far up the field as the strikers to fight for it and shoot on site at goal." And not in every game, It would at least keep them guessing.

On the quiet i think Robbo does, but usually in the last 20 minutes. It used to be with Jabo, but Smith took on that role and no one could get on the end of his flick ons. Alby was a far better player at holding the ball up and playing people on. Hopefully we can get someone of his ilk.
What was a deeper worry was our away form, where we got bogged down and lacked the counter attack edge. I can only think we lost quickness in the mind and speed in our purpose. Too many safe and slow balls which allowed the home team to regroup.
We scored 27 goals away this season and 39 goals last season. I think that speaks for itself, especially as we won 3 games less. Although we also scored 10 goals less at home, it didn't effect our wins.

Saying that our home form against the bigger clubs improved so our home performance against the lesser teams must have worsened. So the answer seems to be that we need to play differently against these teams, especially with a packed defence. Maybe taking more shots, angled chips (not that sort Bill) and players in the box to allow so they make mistakes.

Our passing has always been slow with Potter's first thought is passing backward as that is how he stands facing our goal and is not aware of what is around him. If we want to change tactics with a goalscorer we should look to sign Higdon from Motherwell. He is not the fastest or most agile but does put pressure on defences and scores goals. 26 goals so far this season.

I have always thought it's how the player's body position is when they get the ball. If they are straight they have little chance than to play the ball back, but if they can get an angle they can hold off the defender and play it square or forward.
I agree about Potter this season, he has blown hot & cold, missing Gleeson and I hope our scout has noticed Higdon, whoever our Chief Scout might be.
