Because Suarez has a lengthy rap sheet that rivals most criminal masterminds.

Look at the 'three strike laws' stateside. Mr. A could commit a serious offence that on its own would normally warrant a lenient sentence but on the third strike, he would face life!

For sure they do mate! To let you into something, I've a white mom and a black dad and some of the crap i've heard from blacks towards my old man about being with a white woman was as you can imagine - bang out of order to say the least!

But on the flip side, as a kid back in the 70's, walking down the street with mum hearing knobheads in cars shouting N-lover seems to cut deeper for me personally.

I do see your point for sure but being called a 'N does sink deeper than a set of (Suarez's) teeth. If you stood infront of any black man and called him that, I bet he'd feel more offended than you if he was you call you a white ...!

On a side note; I hate the topic of race on here.

Racism is racism. But one has to take into the historical account for it. And talking about the historical account, the same goes for Suarez on this punishment.

If the FA come out and say the ban is longer due to being warned on future conduct and failing to heed such warnings, then I'll understand the 10 game ban. Otherwise we should really have matched the 7 game ban the Duth FA gave.

I know what you're saying Rock Steady; A girl I used to see was mixed-race and oddly enough her dad - who was jamaican - hated the fact that she was seeing a white guy even though he'd married a white woman (though they'd divorced so maybe that contributed to his hostility)

The few times I met him he barely acknowledged me and in the end I gave up trying with him.

On the flip side, I did on a couple of occasions have to suffer the chavvy drive-by and shout N -lover out the window experience

I just don't understand racism at all... It's messed up. It's not like we aren't all just people. My best mate is mixed race and were it based on personality you could be forgiven for thinking we'd come from the same womb!
To be honest, I don't understand any form of hatred, whether racial, religious or homophobic. None of it makes any sense. Like those 2 idiots who bombed the Boston Marathon, what the hell were they thinking?
