Sad state of affairs in the North East.

I keep looking at the table and think both both of Newcastle and Sunderland will stay up this season, but wonder why two of the lands best supported clubs keep finding themselves down there.

Newcastle is in a select group in the premier league that can turn a profit, one of the top twenty in Europe that can manage it. I know we have had massive problems with injuries this season and the curse of the Europa cup to deal with but still.

Looking at the boro stranded in the championship, I love the passion our little area gives us. I was gutted after the derby game, like why god? why?

This has to be the most under achieved area in the world. We all love our clubs and all they bring us is pain.
