Just heard from a good source (not a Taxi driver) that there is to be investigations at several football clubs in the UK - one of which is a Glasgow club.
These investigations are part of Operation Yewtree....
If my source is to believed, this will hit the headlines this weekend.
Question is, who in the Glasgow area other than Cardinal O'Brien was a friend of Savile's?

As much as I'm against the unnatural tradition of celibacy I've always found that these type of posts only end up in mud-slinging and bad feeling.
Best just to wait and see - if there's anything in it then no doubt it will re-surface.

Ginger - Over the years fans have claimed certain things about certain players at certain clubs.
I can remember 'us' singing certain songs and 'them' singing certain songs.
I have never said anything about an individual club, what I am saying is that any establishment should not be able to simply hide this.
My club has been through enough nonsence to date - I just hope that this is not another 'investigation' that affects mine!

Atheist - Agree with hind sight!
However, I do beleive in innocent until proven guilty and a name should not be carried through the press until proven in cases such as these.

Jungle - Hang on, I've just had a look at your previous posts - A good few of them have nothing to do with football.
This actually DOES have something to do with football as there will soon be investigations within FOOTBALL CLUBS with the ongoing investigations into Operation Yewtree.
Don't tell me that when this hits the press that at least one FOOTBALL TEAMs name is mentioned?
Would you prefer all of this was swept under the carpet?

Does either of these have any connection to any football clubs? If so, Which clubs?
