With talk about a new Spurs striker always an ongoing debate, the names usually thrown in the hat tend to be Benteke, Michu and Damiao.
It made me remember that a few weeks ago there was a lot of speculation about Pablo Osvaldo for Roma. A google search of Osvaldo + Tottenham brings up hundreds of articles (and that's not because of Osvaldo Ardiles!)... It makes me think perhaps with AVB's knowledge of the European game, we might be in for a surprise or 2 this summer.
Anyone know much about Osvaldo? All i know is that he's an Italy international, and his career stats are good - pretty much 1 goal in 2 games at Roma. Also sounds like he's a loose cannon, which isn't necassarily a bad thing as I've always thought recent Spurs teams are a bit too nice...

I've seen Osvaldo a few times when he was at Espanyol. Looked very good, bloody stron guy.
As you said, he seems to have disciplinary issues and therefore doesn't play as much for Roma but when he does, he looks dangerous.
Wouldn't mind him at all, he's a bully just like Drogba and would definitely be an improvement to our current strike force.

Ben Arfa is too injury prone for me.
