Well done to England fans for winning the first two tests but deep down inside you all know the series scoreline would have been vastly different had your team faced a fully fit less fatigued Indian side.
Devalued series

You act as if you are the only team that has ever had injury problems. Australia stayed top of the tree for over 10 years, do you think the entire team was in perfect health for all that time?

Most sports, including cricket, aren't about your best XIs anymore, they're about the squads.
We lost Anderson at Cardiff against Sri Lanka, look what happened. We lost Broad at Adelaide, look what happened. We lost Tremlett for the second test. Look what happened.
You lose one bowler and suddenly you can't take 20 wickets. You lose an opener, yet you still have 3 great batsmen in your team, and you still struggle to make 300.

I suspect England may well not risk Trott in this next test. He may well recover sufficiently to bat but will he be able to field at the level of intensity required. Shoulder injuries are unpleasant and I can't see him diving around to stop the ball.

hope, get the selectors to give me a ring mate. I would love to smash a quick century off these donkeys who call themselves bowlers and would fancy doing it too. 4:0

If Trott isn't fit I hope they take a risk and try Taylor, see how he performs at the highest level

A lot of pundits, including Boycott, are saying Tremlett and Bresnan should both play in his absence. It would be a remarkable change if Flower alters his 6 batsman - 4 bowler system.
I hope he doesn't change.

Nipsmeister....you can only play what is in front of you.
Ferment your sour grapes and enjoy some well matured class.

It is always the way, be it football or cricket, that whenever England win, it is because the other other were not playing properly.
The England-haters also conveniently forget al the injuries (and there have been many) that England have suffered over the last 6 years.
