To be fair to Chicken I think he said he wanted to see West Ham in League 1 (bitter), not that he thought we would be.

Makes no odds, he has said on many occasions how he loaths West Ham, due to his inability to take banter from Hammers he knows in real life.

This hatred will clearly cloud his opinions, so they will always be biased and not worth any consideration.

Dramatic: I think you'll find that Chicken did suggest on numerous occasions that West Ham were in danger of being relegated from the Championship, as opposed to merely wishing it.

I think you'll find i suggested that teams can go up or go down, where at the point where West Ham were in the Championship it was possible, whether that year or later, that they (along with any other Championship club) could go down to League One. Thats just how the league system worls and has done since day dot.

Chicken: If you can't stand by what you say - however ridiculous it may appear in hindsight - then what's the point of it all?

And why dont you aim that point at Maf too, where he has consistently promised to leave the boards forever if certain events dont happen, like Man Utd not finishing in the Top 2 this season, for example?
