This needs a mention, I'm a bit disappointed this hasn't been and the Suarez incident has been hogging the talking points.
A date of early next year has been set for the new inquest on Hillsborough.

This is excellent news. Especially so considering the judge ruled against the police in their attempt to delay the hearing for 6 years, citing the need to wait for IPCC investigations to take place first.
One contentious point is the some of the families want it held in the North West. Micheal Mansfield QC argues its best to hold it in London to eliminate and claims if perceived, or actual bias, by the police.
I personally agree with Mr Mansfield.
Thoughts?

RAP
Thank god, someone else posts. In the furore about Suarez this news has been completely ignored.

This should be the headline news. As Rap said, it's come too late for Anne.

What I don't get about the two groups is why does there seem to be friction between the two?

Has the cut off time been ruled against or will that decision be made next year?

TOOR
As far as I'm aware the cut off time has been ruled against after it was found 41 people could've been saved. I'm not 100% on that mind.

Positive news.
Hopefully this time it will be done properly, and increase the likelihood of those directly responsible being held to account.

Couldn't agree more. I feel that for justice to be truly done. It has to be transparent on our side, and beyond question or speculation.
