The League 1 Final!

Have just watched the highlights on BBC iPlayer. Still having to pinch myself. I remember the "on-loan" Carlisle keeper scoring in injury time but was yesterday the most dramatic finish in the Football League history. Possibly.

Just had a couple of beers last night because I was at an Eddie Izzard show (very funny). I've got some champagne on ice for tonight.

I was in Carlisle when Jimmy Glass scored that goal. My boss at the time was the biggest Carlisle fan (he's now their chairman, I believe - certainly a director) and he'd walked out at the start of injury time because Carlisle were relegated to the conference - or so he thought

None of that yesterday.

Got to say I still can't believe it. Couldn't go yesterday due to pre planned trip to Edinburgh. Watch Soccer Saturday without volume. That last minute was totally incomprehendable but what an eruption of emotion when the 0-1 came up. Edinburgh knew Doncaster was in town. COYR

I don't know if anyone else noticed when the camera was showing the boys celebrating in the changing room but in the back ground was a little boy looking lost.

Spare a thought for Howieson the kid came to us and never got a game and therefore there is not even a championship medal for him. He really did look down in the dumps and I can understand why.

Absolutely amazing yesterday! Hasn't sunk in yet, the most ridiculous end to a football game you will ever see! Those 30 seconds of madness and the Copps goal sparking wild scenes truly brilliant! Can't wait to get back playing with the "big boys" and ruining there days next season! It can only happen to a rovers supporter but wouldn't want it any other way!

My ticket stub will be framed and placed by my side of the bed. It will never ever be replaced by anything.
So emotional at the end I cried like a baby, proper proper tears.
After the game in South Ealing was epic. Molly Malone ringing out of every pub. Partied all night ruined my shirt with spilt curry, but who gives one.
I will never ever again in my life witness anything like that.
So proud of all the fans there the support was immense. So proud of my team the best Rovers ever.

Incredible end to an amazing season. Well done to Brian, Deano, Rob and all the players and behind the scenes staff - especially well done to Gavin Baldwin, JR, TB and DW for steering the club through the mini crisis of relegation and back into a much stronger position. Can't wait for next season!

It will be interesting to see who comes and who goes on the playing front. I think we all know that the majority of this team was here to do a job, many are not good enough to hold a Championship place. Hard but a fact, I can't see Griffin, Paynter, Brown, even Hume, being good enough, also Sulli could be away or have another position at the club, Fowler, Sinclair and several others could be going back off loan.

These players deserve all the accolades they get, but I can see some doing a similar job in League One or Two next season.

Whilst I appreciate that there is more than prize money for winning the league, the difference in prize money is huge - Prem = £16m (fair enough), Championship = £50k (miserly), Div 1 = £25k (even more miserly) & Div 2 = £26k - why is that more than Div 1? I think I am right in all this but I guess that someone else will be clearer. Either way, just happy to be going up!
