Well now that QPR are officially going down and they will be having to let certain players go both for financial reasons and in some cases due to contractual release clauses. Loic Remy is likely to fit into the later reason and is supposed to have a release clause of £8 million. He looks a very capable team player who will do well in the premier league and will score goals, So fellow reds do think it's worth trying to activate this £8 million /release clause and adding him to the squad to provide more options.

Definitely worth 8m for options up front if Luis stays...if god help us he leaves...we need an expensive heavyweight forward instead.

Isnt he just like sturridge? I'd like someone like Benteke to come in

Similar to Studge in some ways, he looks a good team player and could play on the right in some games. I think we need another option to give Studge and Suarez a rest in the non premiership games and to have an option on the bench in the premiership games. If you look at Utd they always have 4 or 5 strikers and have that strength in depth and plenty of options. In terms of Benteke he has had a very good season and would not be cheap I also don't think he would want to be a 3rd choice striker, perhaps if Carroll moves on for decent money it could happen. Suarez leaving is still a worry as I can think of another player who could replace everything he brings though Courthinho showed yesterday that he could cover for Suarez if needs be in terms of unlocking teams, however we need both !

He's very much the same as Sturridge and I agree that Benteke would be a great option for our team. He's got everything Carroll has and more!

We don't need him. If we are to sign a striker, we need somebody different.

I've not really seen him since he's arrived in the EPL, just highlights and his goals. He does appear to be pretty cool under pressure and has made an immediate impact.
I reckon he'll end up at spurs though, they've shown an interest before and they surely have to be in the market given their lack of options.

I would always take him.He has been preforming at QPR and scoring goals imagine what he can do at Liverpool with better players around him
