Target 70 points :-s We are 6th!

If we win our FINAL game we will get to 70 points which will guarantee a playoff place. Any other scenarios don't bear thinking about at the moment as my nerves won't be able to handle it this week!

So, anyone who has looked closely at the table this morning will have noticed that after Saturday's great result the lads have guaranteed a top 9 finish! The only downside being that the highest placing we can get to is now 5th after 2 more points were dropped off our target, but asked us all 3 months ago if we'd take where we are now and we'd have all bitten each others hands off and Bolton (the town) would have a real problem!

Its all down to 90 mins of football at home! COYWM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

to catch up with someone 19 points ahead of you is unbelievable, massive credit to freedman. While I still think he is too defence minded, I have got to say he has done a fantastic job. brilliant stuff

Is he too defensively minded though? Or after Coyle's gung-ho attacking mentality are we all still just getting used to once again having a well organised defence and tactics tailored to the opposition?

We also had a 4or5 home game run without conceding a goal.

So ..if we won 1-0 and Forest win 5-0, they'll go above us! Mind you ...if Palace lost ..we'd still finish in the play offs ...so there is a Plan B ...
