Piff, it was the first place i've visited in the state's and I wasn't keen on going but it was brilliant. Been back a couple of times and have done a fair amount of America since. Have had brilliant holidays. I love it

Still not seen the statue of liberty or the Brooklyn bridge btw

I tried the Statue of Liberty but the trip was snowed off! there is so much to do there though it was no great loss

We have visited Florida and Miami too, Miami is just buzzing, proper 24hr party city

Have done NYC, Boston, San Francisco, L.A, San Diego and Vegas. Brilliant time and great people. Wanna go to Texas and Chicago

Managed to catch a Boston Celtics basketball game, spent the whole game explaining my Celtic top to them, funny thing is I very rarely wear a fitba top

Agree, their politeness shames us, they are confident yet never forget manners, it was almost a weird feeling in bars and clubs when the staff would say "your welcome" never get that in Blighty

Maybe it is the weather or the different culture but I always almost fell more positive over there, that said I feel the same way in Amsterdam or Barcelona, maybe it is just Edinburgh that depresses me
