Wigan at West Brom

Four games to go!

Villa excelled themselves last night against Sunderland. Now Wigan need a similar performance at West Brom.

Wigan are at home to Villa in their final game, so all is not lost. And Sunderland - 6-1 losers - and Newcastle - 6-0 losers - are both in a shocking state.

We're ready for more shock results in the run in!

Good news for Wigan!

Caldwell, Golobart and Watson are fit to play, and Alcaraz could return for the games next week.

Wigan have been playing well but not scoring goals. They need to do both this weekend.

Great performance and result today! And it brings seven teams - everyone in the bottom half - into danger.

Villa remain six points ahead, so Wigan can still catch them. They have to play Chelsea (home) and Wigan (away).

Newcastle and Norwich are three points ahead, and Wigan have a game in hand. Sunderland (37 points) play Stoke (40 points) on Monday. Even Southampton (39 points) and Fulham (40 points) cannot relax.

I thought Wigan did really well today - outplayed and outfought us second half. It was great football at times. You first goal was tremendous, and your travelling fans made a right racket. I'm (almost) glad they went home happy.
