I am as bemused as most people by the lack of signings thus far, and i also agree we are crying out for 2 full backs and another midfielder at least but the way some people go on we are sure fire candidates to get relegated.
We missed out on the play offs last year by 3 points,that was one win and a draw (with the goal difference) away from making the top 6 over 46 games thats pretty close in my opinion.
We missed out because of our defence simple as that and i also include the keeper in that too .( i believe he cost us more than 4 points). with Lonegran and a fit kisnorbo it will make the world of difference and we will be a lot tighter back there.
We will always score goals and have enough talent on the pitch and from the bench too....
I also do not think it would be a bad thing if we ended up getting a couple of premiership players on a season long loan deal ....its worked for a lot of teams who have done well over recent years.. young players want to prove themselves or a bit of experience doesnt harm anyone.
I aint saying KB or SG are perfect by any stretch of the imagination but all is not lost we can were not far off last year and we wont be this year either.
Lets get behind the team from saturday onwards

Celtic fans and Sky Sports claiming we have an Irish international CB called ODea coming on a season long loan, anyone ever heard of him? Also the on/off saga of Montgomery is back on again according to the blunts fans on the message boards. I dont know what to make of this one as never has a bloke seemed less keen to play for his hometown club.

I don't particularly think we need 2 new CB's with Paddy in, we should be decent enough at CB.
Maybe a new LB is the most needed and that's all.
I'm pretty happy with all other areas.

Oh my bad
To be honest we only need competition for RB, I'm more than happy for Connolly to start there.
In central midfield I think we have enough players. Maybe another player like Brown to add strength and a bit of bite, because I feel if we lose him we have nobody to play a similar role.
To be honest those are just preferences and we can play without them, the only position I feel I aren't happy with any of the players starting there is LB.
