Lopez deserves the spot, he has been a terrific goalkeeper for years especially at Villarreal

I've never been a huge fan of Casillas, he's a good keeper no doubt but he has always had a tendency to parry the ball back into the penalty are rather than away to safety. Lopez has played well since becoming number one, it's not like he's making mistakes every other week....like Joe Hart

casillas is rubbish, slightly better then valdez. Lopez is probably the 2nd best spanish goalkeeper only de gea is better imo. Lopez saved like 7 incerdible saves that if valdez was in goal they may have all gone in.

I just wished casillas was in goal for our 2 meetings. We may have racked up a massive scoreline. Casillas barely saves any shot, man city had 3 shots on target at the beaurnebeau and they scored 2 goals. Man utd had double and scored 1 with lopez saving some incredib le chances. 2nd leg too he saved lik 5 incredible chances last 20 minutes 2nd half and one one on one 1st half.
