"We could charge more than £104. Let's say we charged £300. We'd get £2m more in income but what's £2m to us?.
In a transfer discussion you argue about that sum for five minutes. But the difference between £104 and £300 is huge for a fan. We do not think fans are like cows, who you milk. Football has got to be for everybody. That's the biggest difference between us and England".
Bayern Club President, Uli Hoeness on the clubs season ticket prices.
Now I know they get all the tv money but just how full would our stadiums be if we had an average ticket price of less than £5.50?. Then throw in increased income from catering, merchandise, events for kids, alcohol (if we could ever be trusted).
We can only dream....
Why can't we have leadership like this?.

Barry, just heard a report on the price of tickets for the NHL(hockey) play-offs.
1500$CAN for a top ticket.
Only 130 out of nearly 25K tickets went on sale to public the rest were taken by corporations who give them to people who take 20 fekin minutes to get back to their seats at the start of each period.

Those prices are for playoffs. 50% mark up from regular season.
But I would bet you couldn't buy a pair of top-tickets in Toronto for less than 5K Canadian.
