I've always thought one day Messi will fancy another challenge, but I'd back him to City a million times over backing him to us.

Cheeky bid for Ronaldo is more interesting.

So can I funnily enough, but it'll never come to pass. He'll do a Terry-City saga on us, keep quiet the whole summer then dash our hopes one unsuspecting morning

We never know if any of these quotes that float around on Twitter after the game are true.

They had a fall out years ago didn't they and Mourinho said something about Ronaldo's poor upbringing, he did try and patch things up most likely in the knowledge there was a good chance he'd manage him one day.

didnt Erikson call Rooney council estate trash when he was england manager as well?

As for Messi he is young enough for Barca to build another team around him, he wont be leaving unless they want to cash in on him.
