Sorry Brendan. But your Liverpool side is still dining on past glory.

Lets wait till the end of the season, at least Fergie is original with his paper spin.
And another one comes out

6th or 7th both mean f all. No trophies, no European qualification, may as well have come 8th and 9th for all it matters.

I would say 16th and 17th. Who cares if we finish above your lot...we missed out on Europe and that was our target. Not sure what Liverpool's was and frankly I don't care.

You have mentioned it umpteen times this season so, um, you?

I don't know, I can't predict the future. I don't even know who is going to be in this season's top four. But if I had to say, then it would likely be Arsenal or Tottenham who are the weakest link of those teams.

But you can tell us you will be better set to challenge the top four? Sounds like a.prediction to me

That's not a prediction, it is an opinion. Seriously lads, just stop digging.

Well my opinion....and the facts show that getting these top players in the January window.
Got you no closer to the teams above.
Fact and opinion beat opinion every time.

I wasn't expecting miracles in less than half a season and anybody who did was not being realistic. But we have cause for optimism.

But YOU said that you signed two top players?
Yet form and position show you are no closer. You mayhhae collected 5 more points than last season but the gap is still there.

We did sign two very good players. But like I said, it is unrealistic to expect massive differences in three months. I don't understand why you're finding this concept difficult to grasp.
