Bit frustrating result today. It is understandable that the players have taken their foot off the gas a bit since winning the league, however I really don't see the point in bring on players who we know what they are capable of.
there were three young players on the bench today who (imo) should have been given a run-out - even to show what they could do.
Kayal maybe should have started the game, although with him being unavailable for the cup final it is understandable that he didn't. My main bone of contention was McCourt coming on for the second week in a row. I don't see what he brings to the team - he is a fantastically skillful player but I can't remember the last time he had any impact on a game, either coming on as a sub or starting. I keep waiting on it happening but don't see it.
Surely it is better to bring on players with something to prove - with something to aim for, than players who are already winding down.
Atajic, McGregor and Keatings have been part of a succesul youth team this season and maybe deserve a wee chance to show they can make the step up. I understand Rogic has something to prove so no qualms about him coming on but the other younger guys should have been given their chance.

RB - Of course you are entitled to your opinion. You have never "received ridiculous abuse and accusations for these opinions" from me. I am entitled to disagree with you too. From what I have seen, you have given out as much stick to others as you have received from them .

CG, Perth is my first port of call doing some travelling though and Melbourne is on the list, I know quite a few people there just now. Does she have residency or is she on her second year visa?

NNH - she is on her 2nd year visa - she did the 3 months agricultural work on her first year to entitle her to a 2nd year
She lives with her Australian boyfriend - she is not planning coming back anytime soon - I am going out to see her in November - enjoy your travels - its the one regret I have in life - although I have been to lots of places
I will come to the night out/your leaving do if LMC does

Steve I appreciate the fact that I have not received that kind of abuse from you mate There are a few others on this forum who have not felt the need for the tirade of accusations either. As for the stick I have given out it I am not proud of it but it has only come after some severe long term provocation. We all have a point where enough is enough. My problem is not with the fans who genuinely disagree with me, thats what life's all about ie opinions ,but rather my problem is with the fans who resort to abuse and accusations because of the opinions I have on lennon.

At the end of the day, as much as we all love football, it is only a game and today's tragedy at Rugby Park puts it all into perspective. Thoughts are with the deceased's family and friends
