Explanation for Valencia starting

so many games despite being S#IT...

I can't think of any but I'm hoping this is sort of fergie giving valencia a chance to prove himself before being sold in the summer.

any other ideas?

there was similar outrage when he played gibson who was subsequently sold to everton.

I doubt so coz he also played Valencia at home to Real which was probably our biggest game so he clearly thinks he's a class act

Probably trying to put him in the shop window so he has a better chance of getting rid of him!

He is symapthetic choice, based on an assumption he still has the qualities and mentality of a good player who in tome play himself out of it. Tbh its not a bad trait as a manager but you have to sure he is the best option which I am pretty sure he is not.

Ferguson has always managed based on mentality. Valencia must have a great mentality. Something you can see in a New favourite, Jones. Actual ability is usually secondary.

It's because SAF simply does not like Nani

Thought that was obvious

I believe I had figured it out:

Sir Alex has developed a Team Selector Machine. It's simple, you put in a players name with the position(s) they play in, press the button and the machine will select a team purely based on random algorithms.

This is why Sir Alex does not have two teams exactly the same and why we've recently had so many players out of position.

Sir Alex, of course only programmed Valencia as the only right winger. Thus, the reason he plays every game.

There is no other explanation. I've moved on from the Valencia knows Sir Alex is having an affair. I'm sticking to the Team Selector Machine (T.S.M) theory.

His best action was kicking the ball against his left foot before falling over!

How could saf leave out Mr.Nice Guy? There'd be an horrendous amount of guilt attached!

I think Fergie is just expecting Valencia to play his way back into form, the same as Chelsea have done with Torres. I don't see it though, Tony seems to have lost his confidence, motivation and doesn't even seem to work as hard as he used to, I'd certainly suggest all of our other wingers have done more running this season.
