Mayweather vs Guerrero Post fight!!

May the 4th throughout boxing is known as cinco de Mayweather.It's the day the greatest fighter of his era steps into the ring to put on a show like no other .This he was coming off a long layoff due to a jail sentence and it felt more like a homecoming. Up to this point,his record of 43-0 was a stellar one but the fight against cotto showed weaknesses,which was one of the reasons floyd senior was back with his son,to tighten up the defence.
His opponent robert the ghost guerrero was a fighter that earned his stripes with a record coming in of 35-1.Guerrero brought an all round boxing game to the table,he could box,he could brawl,fight in the inside,outside and had decent power.

The fight itself however was a straight forward affair.The first 2 rounds,mayweather started slow,guerrero looked like he was going to push the fight and be the more aggresive,he kept busy especially when they were holding. But from round 2 onwards it was a clinic from floyd,he threw and landed nearly everything.The right hand was landing all day long,gurrero could not get on the inside as mayweather kept his distance,and never got caught up onto the ropes.The speed and reflexes were as good as ever,his defence was back to its best,and it was just a boxing masterclass. Guerrero couldn't figure him out,mayweather was quicker,smarter and stronger.in Round 8 guerrero was rocking,as floyd opened up a bit,but he has a terrific chin and lasted the distance. Mayweather won by UD and went to 44-0 to solidify his legeacy as the greatest fighter of his era.

I never gave guerrero a chance,he's a good fighter but this was a another level,and mayweather proved that at the top of the sport being young and hungry isn't enough.
Although this win doesn't rank as high as others for floyd he still had to beat what was in front of him and he did.

There is only 3 fighters out there that can challenge floyd.Canelo is a bigger fighter than floyd so he can walk through punches and has the ability to cause him trouble.Andre ward if he came down(Although it would never happen).Finally adrien broner,they are friends and it probably won't happen,but broner has the tools to beat mayweather.
