This is my first ever post so I thought I'd write about something that most of us Arsenal fans could relate to.
Probably like most of you do, I tend to watch videos of the good old days of Arsenal, where we used to play the finest brand of football, where our club was not only admired but also feared and for me no one else could epitomise that more than Thierry Henry.
Not only was he an exceptional footballer and in my opinion the best player to have ever graced the premier league, but he was a leader. Not since he left all those years ago have I seen an Arsenal player with the same intensity, the same hunger to succeed and with the same love to play for the fans pull on the famous red shirt . In every goal that he scored, you could see in his celebrations what it meant to him, the club and the fans.
What we had with Henry was a bond between the fans and the club, a belief that we had an absolute superstar on our hands that any rival would be afraid of.
Why I bring this up is because our problems today at Arsenal go beyond the standard of football we now play and the issues and tussles with the board. I am a firm believer in that we have endured our dark days and that we are now, as a club finally taking shape again. This summer will see a change in the way we operate, I think we will see a positive mood around the club whether we capture those top 4 places or not and I genuinely believe we will bring some quality in and add to a squad which can finally start to have that blend of experience, youth and quality to challenge.
This all relies around these marquee signings that will boost the clubs hopes, but its our responsibility as fans to support the team we love and give them a reason to fight for the badge again. It has been to long where we blame the club as fans for where we are, we need to give that level of support that we used to show to Henry. It's the reason why he became the player that he did, our admiration for him allowed him to feel for the club and carry responsibility and drive the team forward!

Fail....Bendtner has only played 8 games, so far, he is not eligible.

Wrong, there is no such requirement to play 10 games in Serie A. Or indeed the Premier League anymore.
Un-fail.

Sir Alex Ferguson has revealed his intention to give medals to every player who has contributed to this season’s Barclays Premier League title success.
The Reds boss is happy that the Premier League have relaxed their rule to allow league-winning clubs to reward more squad members with medals.
Previously only those who had made 10 or more league appearances were eligible and clubs were required to apply for extra medals for players who had not reached that tally. But now five appearances is the requirement and United will receive 40 medals, 10 more than before.

Oh, they changed it because SAF asked for it...
