Assuming we remember where the goal is and take our chances in the next two games, if Everton fail to beat West Ham I can see Liverpool at least finishing above the Blues and into 6th to finish the season with a bit more pride.
After the trip to Fulham (who were a disgrace at home to Reading) we play QPR at Anfield. No more needs to be said on that. Everton finish with a trip to Stamford Bridge.
We are building and I feel we have made forward strides. A lot of young players have gained good experience and should be better if and when called upon again next season. With a few signings we should not need to rely on Sterling, Wisdom and Suso etc and they can continue to develop without the pressure they were under early this season.

Liverpool can still finish above Everton.

The point of the article is that I would like my team to finish as high as possible in the league. That is only one more place but I was looking at how we can do that. I was then poked at by an Everton with no real point to make.
Then another one.

I'd be happy if we were to finish above Liverpool but It certainly wouldn't call for a celebration.

I don't really care where we finish compared to Everton. I only care that we as a club are moving in the right direction, and I believe we are under BR.
Let them celebrate their "win", we needn't be dragged into it. We need to concentrate on getting back to where we were a few years ago, where our main aim should be competing for trophies and trying to get back into the Champions League.
